  My mom and I first checked out Waseda out of pure curiosity. I love the feel of the market, very cozy and compact - well organized and quite simple to navigate. We didn't purchase anything, but we admired it all (especially the local kombucha on tap!). I stopped in this week to purchase liver. I wanted to incorporate it into my diet, but only if it was from a reliable source. After reading on the Waseda Farms website and talking to a friendly person on the phone about the whole grass-fed thing, I made my trip into the store and found myself also buying some of the homemade soap (activated charcoal/tea tree - amazing!). At the register, the cashier was talking to the lady in front of me and I could really tell he was engaging her. I was like, "OH man, better get ready to talk!" (I'm usually the type to get in, get what I need, and get the hell out!) This time though, I ended up talking to the cashier for 15 minutes about cows and eating livers, etc. His name was Peter. He was incredibly sincere and I adored our conversation. I left the store smiling and excited to come back! I *definitely* recommend stopping in and checking the place out. Even if you don't have anything in particular that you're looking to buy. You'll be happy you did. :)
